Elaine O’Shea Mavros Entrepreneurial Spirit Grant

ABOUT

In tribute to Elaine O’Shea Mavros, a proud Irish Catholic and native ‘Lynner,’ and thanks to Elaine’s network of family and friends, Lynn Main Streets is proud to announce The Elaine O’Shea Mavros Entrepreneurial Spirit Grant.

After graduating from Lynn Classical High School, Elaine traveled the world as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for over 30 years. In 1996, she took the leap into entrepreneurship and opened Jambu, an award-winning jewelry boutique on Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

To honor Elaine’s legacy and ambitious spirit, her family and friends raised $3,000 to fund this grant, which will allow us to award $1,000 to different Lynn-based women entrepreneurs over three consecutive years.

Are you a woman-led, Lynn-based business? See if you meet the criteria and apply below!
