To the Lynn Business Community, friends, colleagues and residents, we wanted to say hello and extend a formal introduction to a dynamic new organization called Lynn Main Streets. LMS is a non-profit entity spearheaded by a group of downtown businesses, property owners, and engaged community stakeholders. Through LMS we will empower, facilitate and foster the great work that Lynn businesses and residents are doing to improve our quality of life and continue to grow the connections between the two.
The Lynn Main Streets mission is to bring the community out of their silos, give everyone a seat at the table, and to reinvigorate, represent and revitalize our downtown. This can only happen by having open and inclusive dialogue while honoring how important sense of place, equity and belonging are in a community as diverse and vibrant as Lynn.
Community is at the heart of everything we do, and as COVID-19 begins to have an increasingly significant impact on Lynn we wanted to take a back seat launching all of this and just offer ourselves as a resource and accessible/friendly digital convening space.
In light of broad economic uncertainty, supply chain interruptions, and guidance from public health officials to stay home as much as possible, the impact on small businesses and local economies is already significant and looks likely to become even more extensive. We are here to listen and engage where appropriate to minimize the impacts in any way possible and be an advocate and ally through this complicated and challenging process.

In the coming weeks we will share more information on our approach, our board and committees, and ways you can engage. In addition, we will continue to share information, updates and resources to help you navigate the current health crisis.
